The dual power automatic switching PDU redundant power supply is called ATS or STS.
ATS is mainly used in emergency power supply systems to automatically switch the load circuit from one power source to another (backup).
It makes sure continuous and reliable operation of important loads.
Therefore, STS is often applied in important power plants, and its product reliability is particularly important. Once the conversion fails, it will cause one of the following two hazards: short circuit between power sources or power outage of important loads (or even brief shutdown)

If the primary power source becomes unavailable, the rack STS will seamlessly source power from the secondary source without interrupting critical loads.
